I'm Megan Mitchell, a photographer from Cleveland, Ohio.
My mom was one of those moms who embodied the meaning of sentimental. She always had a camera in her hand, whether it was a family holiday or afternoon outside swimming in our pond. My earliest memories with photography are spending afternoons flipping through her carefully categorized photo albums and going on to create my own with my high school friends. Every occasion was a photoshoot.

About Me
Why documentary style? This goes back to my parent's wedding album- they have a beautiful professional album from their photographer, but the true treasure is the album of film photos created by her best friend. Candid moments of my grandparents dancing, my parent's mingling, so much joy and celebration. These are the moments I believe you should have the gift of remembering.
